I was put on the Mandatory Work Activity in a huge breach of the guidelines. I turned up to the JobCentre and was told that I was being referred onto the MWA. At no point was the Customer Assessment Tool used, and when I spoke to the Advisory Team Manager I was told that they don't use it because the results are subjective. They also did this ignoring that they were also supposed to check that I could do the whole placement uninterrupted by holiday or anything, but they knew full well that I am going to be seeing family over Christmas, as it happens I only get Christmas and Boxing Day off.
