A relative of mine claiming ESA (due to mental ill health) was told by the Job Centre to find work. He was referred to Quadron Services Limited, who offered him a 3 month placement. He was told (along with others on the placement with similar problems) that there might be paid work at the end of the placement. He finished 3 months there, only to be offered nothing at the end of it (and wasn't even thanked for his hard work on the day he left). This has seriously affected his confidence in himself and in his ability to find paid employment. I feel people are being exploited by this company.
