A friend of mine on ESA was asked to come to an interview at his local jobcente, enclosed in the envelope was a sheet of paper setting out an unpaid work placement at his local Wilko in the Beacon Centre, North Shields, Tyne and Wear. When he questioned this, the jobcentre said it was a 'mistake'. I believe they were trying to subtly get him to do this placement.
